Today we dive into the nuts and bolts of setting up your online dating profile. Our guest Elise is not a dating coach like so many of our other guests. Elise comes at online dating as a former journalist who is divorced and decided to use her journalism skills to investigate what works and what doesn’t in terms of dating apps, platforms, profile images and bios. Along with having hosted dating experts at events held by her company, “Untied, Elisa shares her personal experiences and success after implementing what she learned.
Elise is the founder of Untied which is a membership organization offering education, resources and camaraderie to women navigating divorce and life afterward. She was a journalist with two young sons when she found herself facing divorce in 2010. The one thing she yearned for above all was a community of other women who had either been through a split themselves or who were currently going through one. In 2013, she founded UNtied.net which offers local and virtual seminars as well as a community of peers.
